This most likely means GURU was installed before Dentrix G2. To remedy this problem make sure component update 4 and hspsguru.exe are both installed. You can find these updates in a directory named ISSetupPrerequisites on your GURU disk 1 (versions 2 or 3). In there you will see directories named DTXG2CU4 and HSPSGURU.exe. Install component update 4 first which is DTXG2CU4.exe in the DTXG2CU4 directory. Then install HSPSGURU.exe which is HSPSGURU.exe in the HSPSGURU.exe directory.

 

If you still can’t see the GURU icon in G2 Chart:
If you are still not seeing the GURU icon in Chart then right click somewhere in your toolbar area and click Customize. Then click the Commands tab, once on that tab click the Rearrange Commands button. Next select the Toolbar option, select the toolbar you would like the GURU icon to appear on, then click the Add button. Then browse through the available command buttons until you locate the GURU button, select it, then click OK and close the remaining dialogs.
